Whitefield
$12,250

Whitefield is a classic and authentic Mid-Century (circa 1950) platinum ring featuring a stylish diamond combination. The ring centers a six-prong set Marquise Cut diamond accompanied by an EGL certificate stating the 1.34ct diamond is graded E color and SI1 clarity. This wonderfully white diamond is mounted in a traditional style setting flanked on either side by a pair of Tapered Baguette Cut diamonds totally approximately 0.36ct in combined weight. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

As economic growth expanded the upper middle class in the 1950s, jewelry reflected this new prosperity with flashy, dramatic designs and a focus on diamond stones. The basic designs were quite similar to the Retro period, but were executed differently, often featuring textured accents and engraved finishes.

Portola is an adorable and authentic Victorian era (circa 1890) 14k yellow gold three stone ring featuring a wonderful gemstone combination. The ring centers a pearl accompanied by a GIA certificate stating the 6.00mm pearl is a Natural Saltwater pearl. The center pearl is flanked on either side by a pair of six-prong set Old Mine Cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.00ct in combined weight, each graded H-I VS2 clarity. Portola is finished with a simple 14k yellow gold shank with a soft polish. The ring is currently a size 5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

The Victorian Period was named for Queen Victoria, who inherited the throne of England in 1837 when she was only 18 years old. Victoria was young, beautiful, and loved immensely by her subjects. Her tastes in fashion and jewelry were highly regarded and inspired the Victorian jewelry trends of the time. Queen Victoria was married in 1840, and she wore a snake motif ring (a symbol of eternal love at the time) set with her birthstone, a brilliant green emerald, as her engagement ring. In the Victorian era, it was very common for birthstones to be used instead of diamonds for engagement rings. After Victoria’s beloved Albert passed away in 1861, the queen went into the customary mourning period for 18 months, which inspired the gold lockets and black jet pieces commonly seen in this period.

Cazador is an elegant and authentic Art Deco (circa 1930) platinum and 14k white gold ring. This geometric vintage piece centers an Octagonal shaped natural emerald gauged at approximately 0.45ct in weight. The brightly saturated emerald is further adorned by a double octagonal shaped halo of thirty-four Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.75ct in combined weight. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
