Edelman
$3,750

Edelman is a fun and unusual authentic Art Deco (circa 1920) platinum engagement ring. This unique vintage cluster ring centers a box-set Old European Cut diamond gauged at 0.36ct graded H-I color and SI2 clarity. The sparkling center diamond is surrounded by a uniquely shaped halo of eighteen Old European Cut diamonds that total approximately 0.45ct. Edelman is finished with pretty filigree that adorns the top and bottom of the center diamond and is finished with a simple platinum shank. The ring is currently a size 4.25 and can be sized to fit.

The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. Lines were straight and linear, and gemstone shapes most often followed suit. Calibre cut sapphires, rubies, and emeralds were used to add splashes of color to otherwise diamond-centric jewelry. Black onyx and red coral were also used often as accent colors.

Antique Art Deco jewelry reflects the style and spirit associated with the roaring twenties, featuring bold geometric designs. Diamonds were typically a focal point, but calibre cut sapphires, rubies, and emeralds were among the stones used to add splashes of color.

Grand Isle
$3,950

Grand Isle is an alluring and dramatic Victorian era (circa 1880) 18k yellow gold ring with highly coveted English Hallmarks. The hallmarks have since been partially obscured, but we can tell that the ring was made in London. The ring centers three Round gem quality Peridot that total approximately 3.50ct in total weight. These electric green peridot each display a hint of yellow and are flanked on each side by four Single Cut diamonds that total approximately 0.06ct in weight. Grand Isle is a memorable antique ring that showcases incredibly intricate handmade scrolling metalwork throughout the gallery — a memorable and one-of-a-kind mark of craftsmanship. It is currently a size 5.75 and can be sized to fit.

The Victorian Period was named for Queen Victoria, who inherited the throne of England in 1837 when she was only 18 years old. Victoria was young, beautiful, and loved immensely by her subjects. Her tastes in fashion and jewelry were highly regarded and inspired the Victorian jewelry trends of the time. Queen Victoria was married in 1840, and she wore a snake motif ring (a symbol of eternal love at the time) set with her birthstone, a brilliant green emerald, as her engagement ring. In the Victorian era, it was very common for birthstones to be used instead of diamonds for engagement rings. After Victoria’s beloved Albert passed away in 1861, the queen went into the customary mourning period for 18 months, which inspired the gold lockets and black jet pieces commonly seen in this period.

This rare and important sapphire is intensely saturated blue with several small fingerprints visible under the table, a natural occurring inclusion that is its hallmark of authenticity. Bellowsfalls is further adorned by a halo of fourteen Rose Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.15ct in weight. The ring is finished with a simple 14k yellow gold shank detailed with oxidization of the metal, a trait that can only come with true age. Bellowsfalls is currently a size 5 and can be sized to fit.

Sky Point
$28,500

Sky Point is a showstopping and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum engagement ring exuding Edwardian elegance. The vintage stunner centers a 2.87cts Old European Cut diamond graded K color and VS2 clarity. The sparkling stone is nestled within an eight-prong crown setting detailed with impeccable hand engraving and milgraining along the shoulders. Sky Point is further adorned with twelve Single Cut diamonds lining the gallery and totaling approximately 0.15ct — a subtle touch that makes this ring truly remarkable. The ring is currently a size 5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
