"The story of a marriage begins with this ring. May it become her most treasured heirloom, for the history that you share, the love that it inspires, and for the many chapters that you will write together."
Influenced by a deep love for all things romantic and inspired by her couture bridal collection, designer Claire Pettibone introduces a brand new collection of fine jewelry created exclusively for Trumpet & Horn. This vintage-inspired, utterly feminine collection features engagement rings and wedding bands designed to compliment each other as a perfect pair. Sparkling diamonds, luminous opals, sapphires and more are artfully arranged in Claire’s signature heirloom-inspired settings of white, yellow and rose gold. This vintage-inspired collection translates her ethereal design sensibility to breathtaking effect.
"Just as my couture gown collection resonates with a unique and stylish bride, I created this assortment of engagement rings to speak to a woman’s individual style. I have such a love for vintage jewelry, so Trumpet & Horn was the perfect partner to create my fine jewelry collection. Our companies are a perfect match, both from a design perspective and our devotion to our clients. I come from a family of artists, so beautiful things have always been a part of my world. As a child, just like most girls, one of my favorite pastimes was rummaging through my grandmother’s jewelry collection. To be able to bring those first hints of inspiration, mixed with my own feminine vision of timeless style to life as fine jewelry, is a dream come true.” - Claire Pettibone
It is an honor to work with preeminent wedding dress designer Claire Pettibone, whose romantic designs embody the spirit of enchanted Bohemian romance. Since launching the company with her husband Guy Toley in 1994, the self-described true romantic has brought her feminine sensibility to fashion. After a successful decade creating luxurious lingerie, Pettibone introduced couture bridal gowns in 2005, and so began a real shift in wedding style. As the daughter of artist parents — her father a pioneer in the appropriation movement of the 1960’s, and her mother a photo-realist landscape painter — it was perhaps inevitable that Claire would enter a creative field. She spent her early childhood in upstate New York, in a nineteenth century home filled with antiques and art. As a young girl, she studied ballet, and then focused on a career in fashion while attending Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. This life-long exposure to design and art remains a source of inspiration for Claire’s collection. Claire lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter Lorelei.
Each center stone that adorns every Claire Pettibone ring has been meticulously, responsibly sourced from locations around the globe to bring each and every Claire Pettibone design to life the way it was imagined in Claire’s mind. These vibrant, beautifully cut stones are the heart of the collection; each having been hand picked by Claire and the gemologists at Trumpet & Horn to get the perfect color, shape, and price point for each ring. All of the rings are designed and manufactured locally in Los Angeles, CA.
"One of the joys of designing for brides is how each woman is unique, from her personal style, to the story of how she met her groom-to-be, to where, when and how she is getting married. While creating this collection, I considered the myriad possibilities of styles and personalities who will wear these rings, and I have imagined a range of beautiful choices that I hope will resonate with our amazing brides-to-be. I invite you to explore and dream, and thank you for cherishing this symbol of your own one-of-a-kind love.” - Claire Pettibone
