Happy Friday! This week we released two bombe style engagement rings to our site, and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to feature our five favorite rings of the ever-popular design! Bombe rings offer a large & dominant presence on the hand, and generally include intricate metal work and multiple stones. The style was popularized during the Edwardian era and allows for the ring to achieve maximum sparkle. The setting enables light to enter the bottom and sides to truly illuminate the ring from all angles. Fairmont is an exquisite authentic Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum ring centering a 0.44ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded E color and VS2 clarity. This incredibly white diamond is set within an eight-prong bombe style setting and further decorated with eight Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.10ct. The ring is finished with impeccable filigree, hand engraving and a touch of milgraining along the platinum edges. Fairmont is currently a size 6 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes.

Byron Bay is an authentic and remarkable vintage Edwardian Era (circa 1905) engagement ring made from platinum featuring a glittering 0.78ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded H color and SI1 clarity. This unique and unusual bombe style engagement ring is further enhanced by sixteen Single Cut diamonds with a total approximate weight of 0.35ct. and is further decorated with delicate handcrafted linear filigree tapering to a point on each shoulder.
