Happy Friday, folks! To start your weekend off right, we're featuring five vintage and vintage-inspired aquamarine engagement rings. Aquamarines are a gorgeous gemstone that display a wide array of blue colors. Aquamarines are in the same family as emeralds, the beryl family which means they have a good hardness (7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale) for everyday wear. Vintage aquamarine engagement rings are a wonderful alternative to a traditional diamond engagement ring, especially since they tend to carry a much lower price tag! Point Clear is a whimsical authentic Edwardian (circa 1900) 14k yellow gold ring that was converted from antique stick pin. It centers one bezel set Pear shaped natural aquamarine gauged at 1.10ct and adorned delightfully with one Single Cut diamond set above the point of the aqua with a weight of approximately 0.04ct. Point Clear is finished with subtle milgraining around the bezel edge. The ring is currently a size 5.5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.
Whitsett is the epitome of Retro era (circa 1940) cocktail ring design. This fabulous ring centers a show-stopping Rectangular Step-Cut natural aquamarine set in 14k white gold and gauged at approximate 4.50ct (11.9mm x 8.8mm). The ring is further accented with two prong-set Round Brilliant Cut diamonds flanking the center stone and gauged at approximately 0.18ct total weight. Whitsett is finished with a simple 14k white gold tapering shank. The ring is currently a size 4.5 and can be sized to fit.

Brigitte is a stunning, vintage-inspired 18k white gold engagement ring featuring a 1.48ct Rectangular Step-Cut aquamarine exhibiting a gorgeous light cerulean hue. The four prong set stone is framed on either side by six Round Brilliant Cut diamonds, each perfectly framed by white gold scalloped edges. An additional three Round Brilliant Cut diamonds line each shoulder, totaling exactly 0.24ct in weight. This wonderfully geometric ring is finished with subtle milgrained edges, a design element that truly embodies the highly stylized principles of the Art Deco era. Sophie is a show-stopping, vintage-inspired ring from the Claire Pettibone Fine Jewelry Collection. Set in 18k white gold, the ring centers an impressive 1.52ct Oval Faceted aquamarine casting a lovely sky blue hue. The gorgeous center stone is cradled in a four prong setting embellished with exquisite milgraining. Six bezel set Round Brilliant Cut diamonds adorn the top and bottom of the stone, creating a sense of regal symmetry. The sides of Sophie are further enhanced with eight Round Brilliant Cut diamonds, bezel and prong set within a delicate frame of scrolling metal work. The accent stones give the ring an additional 0.12ct in carat weight. Sophie pairs exceptionally well with our Josephine band (as pictured, sold separately).The ring is finished with a high polish finish, but can be made with an antique finish upon request.
