Crosswoods is an incredible and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1915) diamond and sapphire two-tone ring. This whimsical masterpiece features an intricate design dotted with a center Single Cut and ten Rose Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.30ctw. An x-motif comprised of sixteen Calibre Cut sapphires complement the scintillating diamonds, totaling approximately 0.35ctw. Crosswoods is an impeccable example of Edwardian craftsmanship that is sure to delight for generations to come! The platinum-topped 18k yellow gold bombe ring is finished with scrolling open metalwork and millegrained edges.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces.
