Winscombe is a magnificent and uniquely stunning Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum east-west marquise diamond engagement ring. The 2.25ct diamond is accompanied by a GIA Diamond Report stating the Marquise Brilliant diamond is graded G color and VS1 clarity. Winscombe’s ornate platinum setting is decorated with an additional 28 Rose Cut diamonds, adding approximately 0.30ctw in total weight. The ring is finished with amazing delicate open metal work, millegraining along the platinum edges, and a touch of hand engraving along the shoulders. The exceptional quality of the center diamond combined with the spectacularly handmade mounting are a stellar example of the impeccable craftsmanship of the Edwardian era.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured.
