Carlton is an over-the-top authentic Edwardian era (circa 1910) platinum ring centering a stunning 2.77ct EGL certified Transitional Brilliant Cut diamond graded K color and VS2 clarity. This one-of-a-kind ring is further adorned with thirty-two Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.50ct, graded G-H color and VS clarity. Carlton is finished with impeccable scrolling open metal work and a decadent arch of open metal work accenting both sides of the gallery. The ring is finished with beautiful milgrained edges and hand engraving along the entire circumference of the shank. Carlton is currently a size 7.5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
