Gulfstream
Gulfstream is an intricate authentic Edwardian (circa 1905) 18k yellow and white gold navette style ring centering a bezel set 0.44ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded I color and VS1 clarity. A pair of Old European Cut diamonds flank the top of bottom of this pristine oval shaped ring, totaling approximately 0.20ct in weight. Gulfstream is finished with pretty white gold swirling filigree and a fluted oval border of yellow gold. The ring is finished with a split shank and is currently a size 5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
