Milan

sold out!

Milan is an alluring and authentic Art Deco (circa 1930) 18k and 14k white gold ring centering a brightly saturated Oval Cut sapphire. It is likely that Milan started its life as an earring! This bezel set beauty centers a beautiful sapphire gauged at approximately 1.30ct and accompanied by a Guild Laboratories certificate stating that the stone is Heated with Ceylon origin. A halo of ten Old European Cut diamonds gracefully surround the center sapphire, totaling approximately 0.70ct in weight. Milan is finished with decadent milgrained edges and a 14k white gold shank that was most likely added in the 1950's. The ring is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
Antique Art Deco jewelry reflects the style and spirit associated with the roaring twenties, featuring bold geometric designs. Diamonds were typically a focal point, but calibre cut sapphires, rubies, and emeralds were among the stones used to add splashes of color.
